Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to sit in on several interviews with clients for both line and management positions. I’ve concluded that most people still don’t have a clue on how to present themselves to an employer. My advice: Rehearse your interview with someone you trust. Develop a plan based on what you would bring to the company or how you would approach your job in the first 30, 60 and 90 days. Make sure you look professional. Send a follow-up letter referring to important points your perspective employer made during the interview. Finally, bring your A game!
